A key component of the program is the preparation for and participation in the national Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) examination. STC students who complete the course are required to take the National Board Exam, which is already included in the program costs. The program has a strong track record of success, as demonstrated by consistently high pass rates on the NBSTSA exam, showcasing the college’s commitment to student success. In addition to the Associate of Applied Science degree, STC also offers a Central Sterile Processing certificate for those seeking shorter-term training in this field.
