The Surgical Technology program at Center for Allied Health Education (CAHE) offers a comprehensive and accelerated pathway into the operating room. This one-year program, delivered during daytime hours, is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel as vital members of a surgical team. The curriculum combines rigorous didactic instruction with extensive hands-on clinical experience throughout the NY Metro area. Accredited by ABHES, the program focuses on mastering sterile and aseptic techniques, preparing students to work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses. Graduates are well-prepared to manage surgical instruments, ensure sterile fields, and assist surgeons during procedures. CAHE’s Surgical Technology program not only trains students to work in various surgical settings, but also prepares them to sit for the Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) examination, a crucial step in launching their career in the field.
