The Surgical Technology program at Moore Norman Technology Center equips adult students with the essential skills and knowledge to thrive as vital members of a surgical team. Through a combination of classroom instruction and extensive clinical rotations at diverse hospitals and surgery centers in the Oklahoma City metro area, students gain practical experience in managing sterile environments, handling surgical instruments, and anticipating the surgeon’s needs. This comprehensive program emphasizes not only technical proficiency but also the development of strong ethics, professional behavior, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure. The curriculum covers a range of surgical procedures, including robotics, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for the demands of modern operating rooms.
