College of DuPage’s Surgical Technology program provides comprehensive training for aspiring surgical technologists, also known as surgical techs or operating room technicians. This program prepares students to become vital members of the surgical team, working under the supervision of surgeons to ensure safe and effective surgical procedures. Students learn essential skills such as maintaining a sterile field, passing instruments, and counting supplies.
