The Surgical Technology program at Fayetteville Technical Community College is a comprehensive, CAAHEP-accredited program designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel as integral members of a surgical team. Through a rigorous curriculum, students will learn to apply principles of anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and pharmacology to the surgical environment. Emphasis is placed on sterile techniques, instrument preparation, patient safety, and assisting surgeons during operations.
