Vernon College’s Surgical Technology program is a comprehensive offering designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel as vital members of a surgical team. This selective admission program allows students to pursue either a Certificate of Completion or an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree. As a Surgical Technologist, graduates will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient surgical procedures, from preparing the operating room with sterile supplies and equipment to directly assisting surgeons by anticipating their needs and providing instruments.
