Monroe Community College’s Surgical Technology AAS program equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel as vital members of the operating room team. This program emphasizes hands-on learning and prepares graduates for immediate employment in hospitals, surgery centers, and emergency rooms. Students will learn about surgical procedures, human anatomy, and the use of sterile techniques, focusing on patient safety and positive outcomes. Graduates are also prepared to pass the national certification examination.
